Awareness

Utilizing ADKAR, I started building awareness by communicating the change to impacted stakeholders. During this phase, I created a risk register with risk mitigation strategies to overcome the resistance to change.

Desire

I conducted product demonstrations with stakeholders to communicate the efficiency of the new HRIS and their need to become proficient in it.

Knowledge

Then, I heavily focused on training across the organization by facilitating train the trainer classes and hosting open office-hours.

I also leveraged vendor resources by distributing training directly from IPPS-A to employees.

Upon system roll-out, I maintained long-term, deliberate support for stakeholders, ensuring system adoption and usage.

Reinforcement

We refined processes with the new system in place and continued to coach key stakeholders in communicating use of system. Document actions that need to continue to happen outside of HRIS.
